Community Information and Resource Centre an initiative of Digital Empowerment Foundation was taken at Sonapur under Dimoria block, Kamrup district of Assam. The initiative was taken in the year of 2009.
Our Target
To train and capacitate one person from every household in IT/ICT skills by 2016.Advanced training of 500 local entrepreneurs in existing vocations.Train 1000 youths in Communicative English programme.Facilitate local procurement.
Where We Work
CIRC Sonapur covers entire Dimoria Development Block which constitutes 26164 Hectare of geographical area, 12 gram panchayat, 144 villages and an approximate of 119548 populations, 144 villages and an approximate of 119548 populations.
