CIRCs main objective is to enable a multi-pronged integrated development of Sonapur with support of Information Communication Technology tools including Internet, Mobile, Wireless and Digital Media to help the local youth, women and People to seek and exploit education, livelihood, vocation and linkages to the economic opportunities. The Centre aims to increase the skill of indigenous people in diversified ways. It targets students, unemployed youth, drop out, women, entrepreneur, SHGs, CBOs etc. The main purpose of the centre is to facilitate and empower the socially marginalized local communities with a sustainable approach of providing knowledge, online citizen services and other necessary information. Besides, the centre also provides a common platform where the villagers can sit together to share their social issues along with associated problems and solutions. Moreover, this is a centre point where full range of information needs of the community is available.
